S A N C ✝ U S is coming…
A different kind of church gathering.
A place for worship, story, creativity, prayer and reflection — and a space to simply be.
No pressure.
No expectations.
No need to know what you believe.
Just come as you are.
Starting with afternoon tea at 4pm, S A N C ✝ U S will meet on the 3rd Sunday of every month at St Albans Church Hall.
We’ll explore the Bible through music, storytelling and creative arts, creating space to wonder, question, reflect and encounter God.
All ages. Everyone welcome.
You don’t have to be a “church person”.
You can simply come.
What is S A N C ✝ U S?
A space to explore faith, belonging, and the love of God S A N C ✝ U S is a warm, inclusive and accessible gathering for people of all ages. It is a place for anyone who would like to explore knowing God more — whether you have known God for a long time, you are unsure God exists, or you find yourself somewhere in between.
A Place of Welcome
As we meet, we share afternoon tea together. You are welcome to bring something if you would like to contribute, but there is absolutely no expectation to do so. The table is simply a place to gather, connect, and enjoy one another’s company.
Music
Our time includes music and singing that lifts our hearts and helps us turn our attention to God. These songs point us to the One who made us, loves us, and knows us better than we know ourselves.
Creative Exploration
We use creative arts to explore the stories of the Bible and the power of God at work in our lives today.
Questions Welcome
S A N C✝U S is a place where curiosity is welcomed, doubts are understood, and faith can grow gently and naturally.
Prayer & Reflection
We make room for prayer and quiet reflection, offering a peaceful moment to pause, breathe, and rest in God’s love. There is no pressure and no expectations — simply an invitation to be present.
